Portobella Mushrooms and Avocado Sandwich


For most vegans or plant-based eaters the portabella mushroom is a great substitute for meat. It’s steak-like texture and hearty weight makes it a great option for many meals.


Portobella Mushrooms are a good source of protein, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, other vitamins and dietary fibers. My mouthwatering Portobella Mushroom and Avocado Sandwich on Three Grain Bread with Rye Kernels is a healthy alternative to the BLT sandwich


🌱Recipe

2 oz. portobella mushroom

1/4 medium red onions

1 medium sandwich tomato

1 tsp fresh chopped parsley

1/4 cup Olive Oil

1 Tbsp Suya seasoning

🌱 Preparation

Slice the portobella mushrooms into thick portions. In a large saucepan sauté your mushrooms in olive oil over medium heat. Add your Suya seasoning. Build your sandwich on toasted rye bread with your tomatoes and avocado (You can use any bread of your choice as well). Serve and enjoy 💚🌱
